Fouke Panthers (Fouke, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR), 48-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Fouke upgrades its record to 18-0 on the season. The Panthers host Glen Rose (Malvern, AR) to play the Beavers in a 3A Region 7 bout on Friday, January 5. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Glen Rose lost 40-31 in their recent league bout against Centerpoint (Amity, AR)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Bismarck Lions (Bismarck, AR) in a 3A Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 5. Harmony Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 52-26 league win over Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR).
