The Francis Scott Key Eagles (Union Bridge, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD), 64-43 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Century (Sykesville, MD). The Knights go into the Carroll County test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Century walloped Winters Mill (Westminster, MD), 47-21, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Winters Mill for a Carroll County test on Friday, January 5. Liberty will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 47-21 league loss to Century (Sykesville, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 0-4.
