Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Keansburg Titans (Keansburg, NJ), 45-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Point Pleasant Beach upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Garnet Gulls travel to Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Ocean Township lost 71-39 in their recent non-league bout against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ)

Next up, the Titans play the Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Keansburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Piners come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 32-16 non-league win over Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ).
