The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls basketball squad scored 45 points and limited the host Keansburg Titans to 37 in the Garnet Gulls league win on Monday.

With the win, Point Pleasant Beach upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Garnet Gulls travel to Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ) to play the Bishops in a Shore B - Central bout on Thursday, February 1. The Bishops go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Asbury Park lost 44-12 in their recent non-league bout against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ)

Next up, the Titans play the Keyport Raiders (Keyport, NJ) in a Shore B - Central bout, on Thursday, February 1. Keansburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 28-27 league win over Henry Hudson (Highlands, NJ).
