The Venus Bulldogs topped the host Life Waxahachie Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 43-31 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 game, on Friday, January 5. Venus will attempt to move on its 10-16 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a 9-12 record after their 54-48 non-league loss to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ).
With the defeat, Life Waxahachie moves to 5-13 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX) to face the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 10 game on Friday, January 5.
