The Plum Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Woodland Hills Wolverines to 43 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peters Township for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Plum will battle a Indians team coming off a 53-46 league win over Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA). The Indians record now stands at 10-0.

The Wolverines (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Indians come into the WPIAL 5A 1 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Penn Hills was defeated by Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA), 54-42, in a non-league contest.
