The Spruce Timberwolves basketball team (Dallas, TX), was overwhelmed 60-14 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX)
The Pirates now possess a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conrad for a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, January 5. Poteet will confront a Chargers team coming off a 42-22 league loss to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 8-4.
The Timberwolves (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Seagoville (Dallas, TX). The Dragons come into the 5A Region II District 12 battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Seagoville trounced Adams (Dallas, TX), 60-20, in a league battle.
