The Wilson Warriors basketball team (Florence, AL), was toppled 58-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL)
The Pirates now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brooks for a 4A Area 16 battle on Friday, January 5. Rogers will confront a Lions team coming off a 83-26 league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL). The Lions record now stands at 4-15.
The Warriors (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Florence, AL). The Wildcats come into the 4A Area 16 battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Central was toppled by Hardin County (Savannah, TN), 47-36, in a non-league battle.
