Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL), 50-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rogers upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Pirates host West Limestone (Lester, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 10-15.

Next up, the Warriors play the Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 11-14 record after their 44-25 non-league loss to Ardmore (Ardmore, AL).
