Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC), 56-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Concord Academy upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Northside Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC) to play the Knights in a bout on Friday, January 5. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Northside Christian Academy lost 55-43 in their recent non-league bout against Chambers (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Gaston Day Spartans (Gastonia, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 5. Metrolina Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 68-24 non-league win over Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC).
