The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors basketball team (Indian Trail, NC), was toppled 61-52 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC)
The Eagles now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gaston Day for a battle on Tuesday, January 30. Concord Academy will confront a Spartans team coming off a 55-42 league win over SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 16-1.
The Warriors (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Hickory Grove Christian beat Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC), 57-38, in a non-league battle.
