The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers (Fargo, ND) and the host Central Cass Squirrels (Casselton, ND), observed Oak Grove Lutheran's basketball team edge Central Cass by a score of 81-76.

The Grovers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Cass (Hunter, ND). The Jaguars come into the A Region 1 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Northern Cass edged Nedrose (Minot, ND), 73-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Squirrels battle the Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians (Fort Totten, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Central Cass will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 52-48 non-league loss to Beulah (Beulah, ND).
