The Flour Bluff Hornets basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host King Mustangs to 37 in the Hornets league triumph on Thursday.

Flour Bluff will confront a Eagles team coming off a 91-59 league win over Miller (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 24-0.

With the loss, King falls to 10-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX) to confront the Trojans in a 5A Region IV District 29 game on Saturday, January 4. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 2-18. Corpus Christi Moody lost 69-38 in their recent league game against Alice (Alice, TX)
