In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mesa Vista Trojans basketball team scored a big 76-31 triumph over the Questa Wildcats.
The Trojans (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Bobcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, McCurdy smashed Penasco (Penasco, NM), 57-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Questa will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 57-46 non-league loss to McCurdy (Espanola, NM).
