The Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) basketball crushed the host Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), 52-19 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Big Blacks now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Point Pleasant will play a Panthers team coming off a 65-30 league loss to Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Meigs falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Trimble (Glouster, OH) to play the Tomcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. The Tomcats go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Trimble won 42-36 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH)
