West Virginia High School Basketball - Meigs trounced by Point Pleasant

The Meigs Marauders basketball squad (Pomeroy, OH), was crushed 43-12 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV)

With the victory, Point Pleasant advances its record to 3-13 on the year. The Big Blacks travel to Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. The Red Devils enter the battle with a record of 5-11. Ravenswood lost 26-22 in their recent non-league battle against Ripley (Ripley, WV)

The Marauders now own a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern for a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. Meigs will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 1-16.
