The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Paynesville Bulldogs to 50 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine River-Backus for a non-league contest on Friday, January 21. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will battle a Tigers team coming off a 81-59 league win over Bertha-Hewitt (Bertha, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 6-7.

The Bulldogs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks enter the AA Section 3 contest with a 5-4 record.
