Syracuse Bulldogs (Syracuse, KS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS), 67-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Syracuse upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Wichita County (Leoti, KS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 22. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Wichita County lost 64-61 in their recent league bout against Stanton County (Johnson, KS)

Next up, the Trojans play the Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS) in a Hi-Plains bout, on Friday, January 21. Stanton County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 83-53 non-league loss to Lakin (Lakin, KS).
