Georgia High School Basketball - Alexander routs Paulding County

January 20, 2023: Dallas, GA 30157

In Friday's league outing, the Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), by a count of 69-45.

The Cougars (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against New Manchester (Douglasville, GA). The Jaguar go into the AAAAAA Region 5 outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, New Manchester smashed Drew (Riverdale, GA), 70-45, in a non-league outing.

The Patriots now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Paulding for a AAAAAA Region 5 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Paulding County will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 68-50 league loss to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 10-9.
