Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA), 70-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Freedom upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Falcons host Deer Valley (Antioch, CA) to clash with the Wolverines in a Bay Valley bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Deer Valley lost 74-40 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Brentwood, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) in a Bay Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Antioch will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 50-49 league loss to Heritage (Brentwood, CA).
