Michigan High School Basketball - Bedford tops Monroe

Bedford Kicking Mules (Temperance, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI), 63-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bedford upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Kicking Mules travel to Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Railsplitters come into the bout with a record of 3-7. Lincoln lost 62-49 in their recent non-league bout against Saline (Saline, MI)

Next up, the Trojans play the Dexter Dreadnaughts (Dexter, MI) in a Southeastern - Red bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Dreadnaughts come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 54-23 league loss to Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI).
