In Friday's non-league outing, the Bedford Kicking Mules (Temperance, MI) basketball squad felled the host Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI), by a margin of 63-47.

The Kicking Mules (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Railsplitters go into the non-league outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Lincoln was beaten by Saline (Saline, MI), 57-47, in a league outing.

The Trojans now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Dexter for a Southeastern - Red outing on Tuesday, February 21. Monroe will encounter a Dreadnaughts squad coming off a 51-49 non-league loss to Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Dreadnaughts record now stands at 3-16.
