The Hampshire Trojans basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Berkeley Springs Indians to 39 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Preston for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Hampshire will battle a Knights team coming off a 62-33 league loss to Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Knights record now stands at 0-12.

The Indians (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Vikings come into the Potomac Valley AA contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Petersburg was nudged by Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV), 51-35, in a league contest.
