The Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV) basketball knocked off the host Berkeley Springs Indians (Berkeley Springs, WV), 47-39 in Wednesday's league test.
The Trojans (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Cougars go into the Eastern Panhandle test with a 10-6 record.
The Indians now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Fulton for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. Berkeley Springs will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 48-33 league win over Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA). The Indians record now stands at 17-4.
