Virginia High School Basketball - Cave Spring thwarts Blacksburg

The Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) basketball knocked off the host Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), 66-46 in Friday's league test.

The Knights (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons go into the River Ridge test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, Christiansburg went down by Salem (Salem, VA), 46-43, in a league test.

The Bruins now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Glenvar for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Blacksburg will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 57-53 league win over Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-7.
