The Brazos Cougars basketball team (Wallis, TX), was toppled 52-42 in Friday's league battle with the host Van Vleck Leopards (Van Vleck, TX)

The Leopards now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danbury for a 3A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Van Vleck will confront a Panthers team coming off a 63-54 league win over Harmony School of Discovery (Houston, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 5-20.

The Cougars (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Boling (Boling, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region III District 24 battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Boling was toppled by Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX), 76-39, in a league battle.
