The Mavericks now possess a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a 5A Region II District 10 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Emerson will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 57-52 league win over Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks record now stands at 19-6.

The Trail Blazers (8-14) will now prepare for their battle against Independence (Frisco, TX). The Knights come into the 5A Region II District 10 battle with a 16-12 record. In their last battle, Independence was toppled by Heritage (Frisco, TX), 71-68, in a league battle.
