The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Dawson lost 59-20 in their recent league challenge against Sands (Ackerly, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Wellman-Union will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 47-34 league win over Loop (Loop, TX).
