Texas High School Basketball - Horizon trounced by Parkland

The Parkland Matadors routed the visiting Horizon Scorpions basketball team by a final score of 90-56 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Matadors face the Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 game, on Tuesday, January 24. Parkland will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 15-10 record after their 64-45 league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX).

With the defeat, Horizon moves to 13-11 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Hanks (El Paso, TX) to face the Knights in a 5A Region I District 2 game on Friday, January 27. The Knights enter the game with a record of 18-7.
