North Carolina High School Basketball - Howard trounces Iron Academy

The Howard Eagles (Wilson, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Iron Academy Swordsmen (Raleigh, NC), 54-17 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Mount Zion Christian Academy (Durham, NC). The Mighty Warriors go into the CAASC Triangle test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Mount Zion Christian Academy was trounced by Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC), 61-55, in a league test.
The Swordsmen now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Mitchener University Academy for a CAASC Central Carolina - West test on Tuesday, January 24. Iron Academy will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 72-48 league loss to Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-9.
