In Friday's league outing, the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), by a count of 67-46.

The Indians (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 13-1 record. In their last outing, Abington Heights smashed West Scranton (Scranton, PA), 72-53, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Selinsgrove for a Heartland I outing on Tuesday, January 24. Jersey Shore will clash with a Seals squad coming off a 49-35 league win over Milton (Milton, PA). The Seals record now stands at 10-6.
