The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Rock Hill Blue Hawks to 51 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Braswell for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 24. McKinney will meet a Bengals team coming off a 73-56 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Bengals record now stands at 15-12.

The Blue Hawks (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, Guyer ran past Little Elm (Little Elm, TX), 65-38, in a league contest.
