The Mountain View Yellowjackets basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Tuckerman Bulldogs to 46 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newport for a 3A Region 2 contest on Saturday, January 28.
The Bulldogs (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR). The Bobcats enter the 3A Region 2 contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Walnut Ridge was defeated by Hoxie (Hoxie, AR), 50-45, in a non-league contest.
