The New Hampton Chickasaws topped the visiting Waukon Indians basketball team by a final score of 57-37 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Chickasaws face the South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 23. New Hampton will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 9-6 record after their 65-46 league win over West Central (Maynard, IA).

The Indians now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Waterloo West for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Waukon will encounter a Wahawks squad coming off a 67-37 league loss to Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Wahawks record now stands at 12-2.
