North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus trounces South Rowan

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) basketball crushed the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 71-29 in Friday's league test.
The Trojans (8-7) will now prepare for their test against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs go into the 3A Conference 48 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, East Rowan was trounced by Concord (Concord, NC), 87-47, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host West Rowan for a 3A Conference 48 test on Tuesday, January 24. South Rowan will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 72-60 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 10-6.
