The Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA) basketball knocked off the host Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA), 73-65 in Friday's league test.

The Ironmen (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Golden Eagles go into the WPIAL 3A 2 test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Keystone Oaks notched a victory over Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA), 54-48, in a league test.

The Rebels now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to South Park for a WPIAL 3A 2 test on Tuesday, January 24. Seton LaSalle will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 65-37 non-league loss to Ringgold (Monongahela, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.
