The Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA), 72-34 in Friday's league test.
The Rockets (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Hickory (Hermitage, PA). The Hornets go into the District 10 Region 4 test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Hickory walloped Greenville (Greenville, PA), 52-42, in a league test.
The Greyhounds now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Sharon for a District 10 Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 24. Wilmington will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 61-57 league win over Grove City (Grove City, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.
