The Slippery Rock Rockets basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Wilmington Greyhounds to 21 in the Rockets league victory on Tuesday.

The Rockets now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory for a District 10 Region 4 contest on Friday, February 10. Slippery Rock will battle a Hornets team coming off a 60-38 league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-9.

The Greyhounds (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Tigers come into the District 10 Region 4 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Sharon was routed by Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH), 56-35, in a non-league contest.
