Georgia High School Basketball - Thomson trounces Washington County

The Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA), 79-49 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Westside (Augusta, GA). The Patriots go into the AA Region 4B test with a 13-5 record.

The Golden Hawks now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Baldwin for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Washington County will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 62-57 league win over Howard (Macon, GA). The Braves record now stands at 11-6.
