The Susitna Valley Rams basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Chevak Comets to 24 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haines for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Susitna Valley will battle a Glacier Bears team coming off a 53-38 league win over Wrangell (Wrangell, AK). The Glacier Bears record now stands at 6-0.

The Comets (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Unalaska (Unalaska, AK). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Unalaska was defeated by Nenana (Nenana, AK), 48-34, in a non-league contest.
