Oregon High School Basketball - Cove tipped by Wallowa

The Wallowa Cougars basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Cove Leopards to 35 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Powder Valley for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Saturday, January 21. Wallowa will meet a Badgers team coming off a 51-29 league win over Joseph (Joseph, OR). The Badgers record now stands at 10-5.
The Leopards (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR). The Spartans enter the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Pine Eagle was nudged by Imbler (Imbler, OR), 40-20, in a league contest.
