With the win, Dawson-Boyd upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Blackjacks travel to Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Estelline/Hendricks lost 50-44 in their recent non-league bout against DeSmet (DeSmet, SD)

Next up, the Lakers clash with the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) in a A Section 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 55-35 non-league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN).
