The Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) basketball nipped the host Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks (Dawson, MN), 67-61 in Friday's league test.
The Lakers (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 5-16 record.
The Blackjacks now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Central Minnesota Christian for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. Dawson-Boyd will encounter a Bluejays squad coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (Grove City, MN). The Bluejays record now stands at 9-9.
