The Maine East Blue Demons basketball team (Park Ridge, IL), was overwhelmed 76-8 in Friday's league battle with the host Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL)
The Warriors now possess a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nazareth Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, January 23. Deerfield will confront a Roadrunners team coming off a 51-32 league win over Marist (Chicago, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 20-1.
The Blue Demons (3-22) will now prepare for their battle against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers come into the non-league battle with a 8-15 record.
