Illinois High School Basketball - Maine East overwhelmed by Deerfield

The Deerfield Warriors basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Maine East Blue Demons to 18 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Niles North for a Central Suburban - North contest on Thursday, December 8. Deerfield will battle a Vikings team coming off a 64-36 league loss to Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 2-7.
The Blue Demons (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors come into the Central Suburban - North contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Maine West was routed by Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL), 48-30, in a league contest.
