Texas High School Basketball - George Ranch can't hold off Ridge Point

The Ridge Point Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting George Ranch Longhorns to 50 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Elkins for a 6A Region III District 20 contest on Wednesday, January 25. Ridge Point will battle a Knights team coming off a 47-34 league win over Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Knights record now stands at 17-11.

The Longhorns (16-15) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX). The Broncos come into the 6A Region III District 20 contest with a 10-17 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Bush was nudged by Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX), 58-54, in a league contest.
