The Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) basketball crushed the host South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR), 58-12 in Friday's league test.
The Cavemen (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Indians go into the 6A Southwest test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Roseburg was trounced by Willamette (Eugene, OR), 65-22, in a league test.
The Axe now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Sheldon for a 6A Southwest test on Tuesday, January 24. South Eugene will encounter a Irish squad coming off a 50-34 league win over North Medford (Medford, OR). The Irish record now stands at 9-7.
