North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 46-39 in a league bout.

With the win, North Clayton upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to Troup County (LaGrange, GA) to play the Tigers in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Grangers play the Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Saturday, January 21. LaGrange will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 70-46 league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA).
