In Friday's league outing, the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) basketball squad edged the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), by a margin of 66-59.

The Wolverines (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions go into the District 4 outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, South County held off Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 60-21, in a league outing.

The Bruins now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host West Springfield for a District 4 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Lake Braddock will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 27-25 league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 11-5.
