The Nantucket Whalers basketball team (Nantucket, MA), was overwhelmed 44-16 in Friday's league battle with the host Monomoy Sharks (Harwich, MA)
The Sharks now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martha's Vineyard Regional for a Cape & Islands battle on Tuesday, January 24.
The Whalers (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, MA). The Vineyarders come into the Cape & Islands battle with a 0-1 record.
